Here are some actions you can take to start making money:

• Start a business today and be at the helm of your own affairs:

If you are making money as a salary earner, your chances of becoming a millionaire are very slim. You are making your employer richer not yourself. You need to step outside of this comfort zone. Starting a business today (and not tomorrow - procrastination) increases tremendously your chances of becoming a millionaire.

When you start a business you must focus on the things people need, and the quality of service you will give in providing these needs.  You must minimize your business startup and running costs as much as possible. You must keep brainstorming on how to improve your business model. You should also find someone who can be a guide and a mentor to you in business. Surround yourself with successful people and like-minded millionaires. Join business clubs, attend business meetings and seminars

• Start a savings culture today:

You must make up your mind and start setting aside a sum of money no matter how big or small as your savings, put it preferably in a high interest yielding savings account which you have restricted access to. It will be hard to become a millionaire without learning how to save. Savings requires good self-discipline. Begin to cultivate it now.

• Invest in stocks today:

Investing in stocks is a good way of making money in the short and long term. When you decide to invest in stocks, always get good and sound financial advice on the stocks to buy before you put your money there. Read up and research and ask other stock experts for advice before making the investment decision.

• Buy mutual funds today:

Like stocks, mutual funds are good long term investments for making money. Mutual funds are really an investment of other investments. When you own a mutual fund, you actually own the securities (stocks, bonds, cash) within the mutual. With mutual funds, you are pooling your money with other investors and diversifying your investment, thereby lowering your risks.

Online businesses now rank among the top businesses that produce the most millionaires.There are various online businesses you can venture into, some of them I will list out here.

E-commerce: 

This is when you sell your goods and services online through your website. A popular way of starting an e-commerce business is with E-bay.

Adsense: 

With google Adsense you get paid when google puts adverts on your website or blog and people visiting your website click on the ads and make purchases.

Affiliate marketing: 

You make money when you advertise the products of an online merchant on your website or blog, and people who visit your site click the ads and buy the advertised goods or service.

Blogging: 

Bloggers have a wide range of topics they can write on. Money making opportunities come through advertisements on the blog, from adsense, from other affiliates and direct advert placements from companies. The more traffic a blog gets the more money generating potential for the blog.

Network Marketing:

Network marketing is also referred to as multi-level marketing (MLM). This is one of the fastest growing industries of this era, it is creating more millionaires today than any other industry. Network marketing is endorsed by many business leaders as a proven business system for anyone wishing to attain financial success.
